EXEMPTIONS: Smoking is allowed in “age-restricted venuesâ€; 25% of hotel/motel rooms; tobacco manufacturing/distributing/etc facilities; non-enclosed areas of public places including facilities with removable walls; Nursing homes and long-term care facilities; Private businesses with three or fewer employees that are not open to the public; private clubs; private residences except when used as child care facilities; retail tobacco stores; Commercial vehicles when the vehicle is occupied 195 solely by the operator; and government buildings addressed elsewhere.
