This bill prohibits smoking in enclosed indoor workplaces and enclosed indoor public places, including restaurants and public transportation.

EXEMPTIONS: Smoking is allowed in private residences except when used as child care facilities, retail tobacco stores, stand alone bars, state-licensed gaming facilities (including casinos and bingo parlors), smoking cessation programs, designated outdoor smoking areas, private clubs, limousines under private hire, and 25% of hotel/motel rooms, tobacco product manufacturing facilities, and enclosed areas within restaurants, hotel and motel conference or meeting rooms while these places are being used for private functions. Amended to exempt enclosed indoor workplaces, other than restaurants, that employ five or fewer employees.
