This bill prohibits smoking at public parks and beaches, which include a park or forest, a county or municipal park, or a State or municipal beach, recreational area, marina, historic site, burial site or natural area, but does not include golf courses or any parking lots adjacent to but outside the park or beach. Municipalities would be allowed to designate up to 15% of beach property as smoking areas.
