This bill gives landlords of residential dwellings to prohibit smoking on the property, which is something that all landlords already have the right to do. It also specifies that all leases shall include a provision that specifies where smoking is prohibited on the property. The bill also requires that landlords give notice of a change in a rental agreement to prohibit smoking in accordance to state and local notice requirements governing changes to the terms of a rental agreement.
